A Mala is a string of beads traditionally used in meditation or prayer. That said, I don't believe that you need to be religious or have a specific spiritual practise to benefit from using a Mala. It can simply be worn as a reminder of a personal intention that you have set, a tool during breathwork, or in my own personal experience, as a sensory tool to calm & ground me, to benefit from the energetic properties of the beads and worn because they are just so gorgeous to look at.
